Clark's Firewood was founded in 2015 by then 11 year old Clark Donovan. Clark's Firewood began as a youthful endeavor on a family farm in Upperville, Virginia, and has grown into a trusted name in the firewood industry across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Specializing in high-quality dried firewood, our company is committed to delivering only the best.

Clark's Story
I have always been an entrepreneur. From setting up lemonade stands outside my house as a kid to starting a mining arbitrage company in high school, I've always been drawn to new ventures. Now, as a third-year at the University of Virginia, I continue to manage Clark's Firewood daily. Running this business is my passion, and I cherish the strong relationships I've developed with our customers over the years.
About Our Firewood

Our kiln-dried wood undergoes an intensive drying process to achieve an optimal moisture content of 8-12%, guaranteeing a clean, easy, and efficient burn every time. This precise drying process not only enhances the burning properties but also minimizes smoke and maximizes heat output, making it perfect for both heating and cooking purposes.
Additionally, kiln drying effectively kills any insects and removes mold, ensuring that our wood is safe, clean, and ready for use in your home or business.
